FAQ

Questions, answered

Can I use my own SRT file?

Yes. Import an .srt or .vtt file and each cue becomes an editable, stylable caption.

What is the difference between burned-in and soft subtitles?

Burned-in subtitles are part of the picture and always visible. Soft subtitles (SRT/VTT) are separate files viewers can turn on or off.

Can I change where subtitles appear?

Yes — move all captions at once with the placement buttons or drag any single caption in the preview.
